Transforming prisons, transforming futures
Little slivers of time add up to big accomplishments!.
Happy renovating! It’s that time of year when we all want our homes to look amazing, but we don’t have much time for huge home projects, or the desire to spend huge amounts of extra money. So what can ya do?
Paint, of course.Paint is almost always the answer. In fact, I’ll let you in on a little secret.
When 2014 started, I decided that this was going to be “the year of paint”.I knew I wouldn’t have much time on my hands with the baby in the house, but with paint I knew I could still do lots of little projects that would make me feel so much better about my surroundings almost instantly.
It turned out that I held true to the “the year of paint” thing, and earlier this Fall I partnered with CIL to visit a bunch of Home Depot stores and meet with customers to help them choose their perfect paint colours..
When CIL contacted me again this Holiday season to see if I wanted to come up with a fun little paint project to share, I knew just what I would do.🙂 That’s just the kind of help that really helps me, and the kind of help needed might be different for everyone, but one thing will always be true: Help is helpful!
If there’s a little bit of help available to you, use it!.Be prepared to be dazzled (by yourself).
Whether you can find 30 minutes or 30 seconds to work with, you’re going to be so amazed at all that you can accomplish with a little bit of vision and a little bit of consistency. If you’re feeling pressed for time, give a few of my little tips a try and I promise you’ll love the feeling of actually making progress on some of your goals and dreams, even if it is just a little at a time..
